#KINDNESSCOUNTS WELCOMES YOU
#KINDNESSCOUNTS AT A GLANCE
Here at #KindnessCounts, we are driven by a single goal; to do our part in making the world a better place for all.
FACETS OF OUR ORGANIZATION
Making A Difference
Each of the 15 schools throughout Iron County will have the opportunity to involve their school in our #KindnessCounts project. They will receive a roll of tickets that will be given out to the students by the teachers and administration when they are “caught” doing an act of kindness. At the end of the year, the school with the most tickets (based on the size of the school) will receive a grant, raised through money donated by sponsors like you.
STUDENT OF THE MONTH
In addition, each participating school will have the chance to nominate a student who they feel represents what Kindness Counts is all about to represent their school. The #KindnessCounts board will take all the students nominated to represent their school and choose one student whose act was exceptional and along with the winning school, we will announce the #KindnessCounts Student of the Year and he or she will also receive a cash award along with the ICSD Student of the Year plaque.
END OF YEAR PROGRAM
To announce the winning school and #KC Student of the Year, we will organize and put on a #KindnessCounts Program that will showcase the talent in Iron County and from our schools.
